XXL Coats
Nothing better than an extra big coat to feel snug as a bug when the weather turns cold. It doesn’t matter what type just make it XXL.
Dark Floral Dresses
This is an edgy twist on summer florals and a perfect transitional piece. You can easily dress it up or down and its suitable for most occasions. Forget about pretty delicate florals. Dark floral dresses are all the rage this season.
Chunky Chain Necklaces
I’m so glad this trend is back! I had a beloved chunky chain necklace from Topshop (sirca 2004) I wore all the time. Unfortunately I seem to have lost it with all the moves but that’s ok. I’m all in to invest in one this season. I just love them. They are bold yet classic and I favour the gold coloured ones.
Skirts and Dresses over Trousers
I have always loved wearing dresses and skirts over trousers and so I couldn’t be happier to find this retro trend was once more a must for this season. Read my tips on to layer your outfits for autumn to get inspired. I would recommend sticking to a skinny or straight-leg style, rather than a flare to minimise looking bulky.
Puffy Headbands
Remember Blair Waldorf? Headbands are a must this season and they will give any outfit a bit of a preppy look. Don’t be shy and make a statement by sporting one this season. Unleash your inner stylish geek.
