Holiday Dreaming: Where To For Your Next Adventure?

Many of us can get lost in a day dream of travel and holidays, don’t you think? One minute you are sat at your desk, the next you are lying on a beach somewhere sipping a cocktail and listening to the waves. Only to be brought back down to reality by the ping of your email or your smartphone ringing. There is nothing wrong with dreaming about your next holiday, for some, that is what working is all about. But where do you go and what do you do with the next block time you have to enjoy a holiday? I thought I would share with you a couple of unique destinations to consider alongside the usual suspects. Perhaps it will offer up some inspiration for you.

Atlanta, in the state of Georgia, is one of those cities that perhaps isn’t on your radar, but it really should as it can give you all of the vibrancy any other city break can offer, with some of the culture and art exhibitions to go alongside it. Staying close to the action in places like Fairfield Inn & Suites Atlanta Buckhead means that you are well placed to explore some of the best areas in this city. If you do go here, don’t forget to check the downtown Centennial Olympic Park.

Las Vegas

Las Vegas

Maybe you want a vacation in the adults playground that is Las Vegas, and who can blame you? It is one that happens to be on many bucket lists and for good reason. You can take in the sights and sounds of the fabulous Las Vegas strip at night. Check out one of the many shows with famous residencies. Enjoy a cocktail or two poolside or even have a flutter on the slots or roulette table. It certainly could be an energetic break away.

If you are looking for a good beach that has a real Latoni feel about it then Miami is the place to go. Miami beach itself is a long stretch of white sandy goodness, but you also have dotted along it some fabulous restaurants and bars. Mix that with the colonial architectural and the Cuban influence and you really have a fabulous vacation hot spot.

One of the best beaches around happens to be on the central coast of California in Monterey. Along the rugged coastline you will find an abundance of seafood restaurants as well as the famous aquarium. This spot is also famed for being the perfect area to whale watch, so it could give you that relaxed seaside holiday you crave with a once in a lifetime experience.

New York City

Brooklyn Bridge

Finally, if you want shops, sights and fabulous eateries then look no further than taking your next vacation to New York City. Downtown Manhattan, the famous Brooklyn and even the iconic Central Park, there is so much to see and do in this famous city which is why people return year after year.

I hope this has given you some food for thought in terms of inspiration for your next holiday. Happy travels!

Love, P
