There is nothing quite as thrilling as receiving a mystery package in the post. My son loves surprises and as soon as he saw his ‘Clever Bees Club’ box he immediately said excitedly with a huge smile on his face: ‘A surprise for me?!? Can I open it now? Please Mummy, I want to open it now.’
How could I say no to such an adorable and super excited little boy? He opened his box and started exploring it’s contents straight away. I wasn’t too sure what to expect to be honest but was really impressed with the idea and it’s contents.
The ‘Clever Bees Club’ was funded by Mark. Mark’s idea to start the ‘Clever Bees Club’ subscription box came about during a trip to a toy shop with his three daughters. In his own words he realised “Wouldn’t it be great to have a mixture of new fantastic activities AND fun toys to play with on a regular basis?” I know what my son and I think and that is ABSOLUTELY.
The concept is very simple and clever really. Every month you are sent a box filled with fun, developmental activities to keep your child happy and busy. There are plenty of activities for endless hours of fun. The boxes come with their own information sheet, suggestions/ideas for fun and learning activities, a recipe card, reward chart and stickers and a little challenge competition that is different each month.
As soon as we started unveiling the box’s contents we realised that the theme for our box was WATER. The themes are different each month but the kind of goodies you can expect to find in their boxes are:
- Cooking recipes
- Activity books
- Creative crafts
- Animal facts
- Music and sounds
- Basic Science
- Insects and flowers
- Grow your own fruit and veg
- The human body
- Story books
- Family games
- Colouring & drawing
My children love reading so my son was instantly curious and interested in reading the book as luckily he didn’t have it in our collection yet. He also loved his goggles and decided that they needed to be worn everywhere and did so for days. Apparently he needed them to see all the invisible sea creatures we seem to have in our house!
We were very impressed with all the goodies in the box and thought there were endless possibilities to use them both for fun and learning.
He had lots of fun playing and learning with our Clever Bees box and many of the goodies are still being used and played with at the moment.
The Clever Bees Club subscription box is suitable for children aged 3-7 years old. A monthly box costs £19.95 and it is posted to you free of charge (great value for money if you ask me). You can find out more and subscribe to the Clever Bees Club on their website.
Luckily for you, ‘Clever Bees Club’ has given me a 3 month subscription worth £60 to give away and all you have to do is enter below. Good luck!
