#Living Arrows 19/53

You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. Kahlil Gibran

This week’s photos were taken on two different occasions. My son’s photo was taken during a day trip to Costa Nova (Aveiro) on Tuesday (it was bank holiday in Portugal) and my daughter’s photo was taken at the beach yesterday morning.

I have to admit that it’s becoming increasingly hard to get photos of my kids. They like to make my life hard and refuse to take any kind of direction which is ok as I mostly capture candid shots of them but they just move so fast that sometimes it’s almost impossible to capture them before they are off again! Anyway I love these two shots and thought they would be perfect for this week’s living arrows because I think they capture well where each kid is at the moment.

My son is all frantic, overly excited pretty much about anything and everything and extremely physical.

My daughter is more of a daydreamer, taking time to appreciate life’s little details and a lover of all things beautiful and sparkly!

Here is my last #livingarrows post in case you missed it.

  1. Those photos are awesome! And I can completely relate. It’s so hard sometimes to take photos of Athena and Troy, they have to be in the right mood or completely unaware of my camera! x

  2. Such lovely photos of them both. I have to admit a lot of mine are snapped when my boys are playing otherwise I get funny faces being pulled and all sorts! #LivingArrows
