Pretty in Pink

Blush, Rose, fuchsia… This ultra feminine colour and all its varying shades its huge this season. I have always been a fan of a pop of pink here and there and so I’m totally ready to embrace this trend. No don’t worry, I’m not suggesting you go out dressed head to toe in pink and all its varying shades. Just think of it as an accent colour to add vibrancy to your look rather than a head-to-toe ensemble.

If you’re worried about looking like you’ve stepped out in something your 2-year-old would have in her wardrobe never fear – you can tone down the girliness by pairing it with tougher pieces such as distressed denim and leather.

Go on live a little and unleash your girly side. What’s the worse that can happen?

Here are a few of my favourite pink pieces to get you started.

Love, P

  1. I’ve finally embraced pink this year – it’s only taking me nearly 30 years!! But you’re so right that you can tough it up or just ride the feminine train and go with it! I love the Mango skirt!! #stayclassymama

  2. On Wednesdays we wear pink…
Sorry, I had to do that. Never miss an opportunity to quote Mean Girls. But seriously, I love pink! Fabulous options!

  3. I love pink, but usually just one subtle item at a time. There are so many shades, it’s a really lovely colour.

  4. #Pinktomaketheboyswink is the hashtag for you with a great tongue-in-cheek love affair with pink. Check it out. Love the metallic sliders – when fashion and comfort collide! #stayclassymama
