The Hot List: Fabulous Swimwear trends for Women and Children.

Summer is fast approaching and with it a well deserved Summer holiday.

If like me you love spending Summer on the beach, you are probably already dreaming of the hot sand between your toes, the waves crashing at your feet, the hot sun on your skin and the great time you and your little ones will have building sand castles, exploring and playing in the water.

In my anticipation of Summer I have been happily browsing through 2016 beachwear collections to find the hottest beachwear trends out there for you and your little ones.

So, let’s start with us ladies. Some of last season’s trends have carried over, like sporty cut-away bikinis and extreme cut-outs, but new trends were also introduced, like very small ruffles and off-shoulder silhouettes. Also evident is the ongoing one-piece trend, from super-basic minimalist one piece swimsuits to those with sexy lace-up detailing along each side or down the body.

On to the little ones now. With the little ones swimwear the key is to keep it simple, fun and super cute. Obviously everyone will have their own versions of what that is but these are my favourite.

I hope you have enjoyed my selection. Have a great holiday!

  1. These are some beautiful bathing suits. Although I admit I don’t know if I’d be comfortable in any of them as I’m much more of a full one peice these days. The kids suits are so adorable. #TribalLove

  2. I’m dreaming of the beach already! My husband & I are going away to sunny Spain, just the two of us to celebrate 10 years of marriage! So I am in the market for new swimwear. I am going to look at the two pieces with the high waisted bottom – they look gorgeous & remind of what the women wore in old movies. Thanks so much for joining us at #BloggerClubUK

  3. I love a vintage style with the big knickers, although I’m not sure if it’s the most flattering on me. Love the tops with the frills on too. It seems that all I wear these days is a ratty M&S number to take Piglet swimming, so might have to invest in something new! #puddinglove

    1. Go on treat yourself. There are so many lovely things out there at the moment I’m sure you would be able to find one that looks great. Also, I think the beauty of the big knickers is that they are actually very flattering on most people.
